As for linux, I do believe there are a few LOUD players that play on linux. Come join the LOUD Discord (https://discord.gg/P9S7GURU) & ask about it in the faq-n-help-me channel.
P.S.-That Discord invite will expire in 7 days.
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1423482398
that's purely for multiplayer online?
And here is how to run LOUD: https://www.protondb.com/app/9420#fJ0nZDc-gl
Only I would suggest to install LOUD manually, from their official package https://eu.theloudproject.org/
and then extracting it in proton directory, somewhere under /home/<user>/.steam/steam/steamapps/compatdata/9420 or /home/<user>/.steam/steam/steamapps/common/ I don't remember exactly, anyway the directory where main game executable is stored.
Note to fellow over-eager downloaders: https://eu.theloudproject.org/ has a LOUD.7z link available. The complete part of its description is accurate. You'll get a massive 1.1GB 7z file, 75MB of which is SCFA_Updater.exe. You might know what to do with the rest of the contents - I did not.
Took a [2] month hiatus when I didn't open supcom or discord. Now the LOUD [channel] doesn't show up in my Discord client.
Haven't updated LOUD yet. Eager to try the M81 M28 AI.
This link https://discord.gg/3qRSGzby, which is temporary, will expire after 1 day.
