A way to tilt the camera?
Hello. I'm used to playing more standard RTS games with very close, tilted, camera perspectives, but the default 90 ~85 degree camera angles in this are not too comfortable to stare at for me.

Is there a way to tilt the camera so it's more traditional looking? You know, like in the screenshots.

EDIT: Okay, space bar does exactly what I want but, upon releasing it, it resets itself. Please tell me there is a way to lock it.

@UnluckyDuckie I think I found a way. When I use the space bar and rotate it, I press CTRL+V while holding the spacebar down. Once I do this, it leaves me in the same angle and doesn't snap back to the normal 90 degree angle. Then if I press CTRL+V again without holding the spacebar the HUD re-appears, but it still doesn't revert back into the 90 degree angle. Hope this helps! :D

So:
1. Hold Spacebar and Rotate
2. Press CTRL+V
3. Release Spacebar
4. Press CTRL+V

I think you could move your camera with the middle mouse button.

That allows me to ordinarily move the camera with mouse swipes and zoom in/out. I'd like to make the perspective tilted so I can see more of the battlefield while keeping detail.

You can use a keyboard shortcut to enable "freecam" - as you previously said when you use the space bar to tilt the camera, it resets back to the original view.

With Free Cam enabled, the camera will remain in the position you tilted it to without reseting it once you let go of the space bar.

Press Control + V to turn it on and off as you wish. A little text notification will appear in the game to tell you whether it's on or off each time you press Control + V.

You're a gentleman and a scholar. But, sadly, doing this basically disables my minimap functionalities as all the unit/building icons disappear for some reason (ironic taken that I want to be more aware of the battlefield), turning it off makes it reset as soon as I move the camera.

I guess I'll just have to get used to the standard cam for the most part, freecam can still be useful to me for microing though.

From what I pressed all I can seem to do is rotate the camera by holding Delete and reseting it with Numpad-1. hope that helps:steamhappy:
