Supreme Commander: Forged Alliance

With Google translator:

Is there a way to remove units from the game? I play with mods and therefore have a pretty full unit list in the build menu. I have already deleted some units from the mod folder that in my opinion were unusable or did not work correctly, but I would also like to delete some of the original units for myself, but the AI should still be able to use them.
I noticed that the AI is probably not or almost not able to use mod units, so the originals should be deleted from the list just for me.

Oh that's what that was about. Well then:
The main game has a file called 'units.scd', found within the folder:
<your local drive>:\Steam\steamapps\common\Supreme Commander Forged Alliance\gamedata
All *.scd files can be opened with a file extractor, such as Winrar, Winzip, 7-zip etc.
Inside the 'units.scd' you'll find a 'units' folder, within which several folders exist, named like 'XSB0203', which is the unit data for: https://unitdb.faforever.com/?id=XSB0203
...as found on:
https://unitdb.faforever.com
...which can be used for reference.
Same with the mod files: Folder = unit data.
You can look up the original units to get an idea how things are handled.
Inside each unit folder the file ending with *.bp has the unit data you want:
-health, speed, resource price etc.

The Brewlan mod also has timelapse videos on youtube about the creation of their own unit models, such as:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_I_D6KGNB8g

...aaand Faforever has a cheat mode for unit testing and mod development support buuut I never used it, so I don't even know how to enable it.

Build restrictions exist and can be assigned to one player only, as the campaign does. Not sure how to implement this for skirmish, though. Also if you want AI matches check out the LOUD mod.

I also use my mods in the campaign.
I can build the mod units, but I think if I delete the normal units from the unit folder (e.g. Tech 2 Panzer UEF) then the AI can no longer use them in the campaign and skirmish. Even if the AI in the campaign only works to a limited extent...

I also want to delete the units just for me for the campaign.

I looked at the Loud Mod, but I don't like the fact that you have to register on their website...

That would be FAF that requires registration, LOUD has no registration process - nor do we have a website. The LOUD launcher/installer is available on ModDB - https://www.moddb.com/mods/loud-ai-supreme-commander-forged-alliance

Oh sorry, then I misunderstood that on Mod DB.
Then I'll try that again
But I would still like to know if there are other options.
What I also wanted to know: which programs can you use to open and edit the SCM and Lua files?
I would like to try modding myself

Just about every asset, except the actual models of units themselves, are simple text files.

with the normal editor that I didn't think of it earlier.... xD

The 'cheat mode' referred to is Alt-F2 - which requires that you have the 'cheats' option turned on, in the lobby, when you set up a game. Alt-F2 will open a menu, in game, that allows you to spawn in ANY unit - and play around with it.

This menu is available in ALL versions of the game, Vanilla, FAF and LOUD.

Yes, I'm sorry, I probably didn't word my question correctly at the beginning.
That's just Google Translate...

I believe that I have everything I wanted.
Many thanks for the help.
