Installing Maps?

By no means am I new at this, as a foreward.

I downloaded a Europe map, and I wanted to install it. I put the folder (euv2) inside the maps folder under Steam\etc..\FA\maps, but it didn't work. I tried another map as well, but still nothing appeared under skirmish or in MP. I tried searching, but found no answers. Any help?

That is the folder for the original maps. Use this : documents/mygames/gaspoweredgames/supcomfa/maps

I'm guessing I'm supposed to make a new folder? There's only saves and replays there. I'll try it out.

If that didn't work, I suggest reinstalling, that's how it works for everyone else :)

path is:
D:\InstalleD\SteamD\steamapps\common\Supreme Commander Forged Alliance\maps\

Was looking for help for this so old forum posts are really helpful. Other guy is being an idiot and not thinking of other people looking for solutions even if the post is from 2014.
