already exists & unable to delete file
did you try removing the files in question?
C:\Games\Steam\steamapps\common\Supreme Commander Forged Alliance\bin\SupComDataPath.lua C:\Games\Steam\steamapps\common\Supreme Commander Forged Alliance\bin\Microsoft.VC80.CRT.manifest C:\Games\Steam\steamapps\common\Supreme Commander Forged Alliance\bin\BugSplat.dll
and then restart the updater?

looks like a file permission or antivirus issue to me
TDM Feb 18, 2018 @ 2:43am
Yup, First did a fresh install, then just removed each file.
Made sure the whole directory is on the antivirus exception list.

I'll have it investigated and get back to you - it may be on our end. We have a new installer package that has been giving some odd things over the last 3 days. If it's us - it'll be fixed by the end of the day.

i am having the exact same problem
loudman2 Feb 18, 2018 @ 3:51pm
We have confirmed that it is actually a capitalization issue - our new FTP service seems to have a problem with filenames that are capitalized. We will have the issue fixed as quickly as possible. In the meantime, if you can locate the bugsplat.dll file in your original installation and rename it to BugSplat.dll and put it into your bin directory - the game will function properly. I will post another reply when the updater program has been patched.

Awsome thanks for the fast action, that was the news i wanted to wake up to.

Zonok, copying just the BugSplat.dll from the bin.sav to the bin directory wasn't enough for me I also had to copy the SupComDataPath.lua as well then it fired right up

got it working now thanks !

Why are you trying to touch 2 of those 3 files?
Bugsplat, supcomdatapath, those are in there by default - at least for the steam version.

I'd even go as far as asking: why you are touching any binary at all (*.exe, *.dll, etc)?!
loudman2 Feb 19, 2018 @ 10:25am
The Loud installer doesn't touch them - the installer creates them -- in parallel to your existing installation. This allows can to switch freely between their original installation and LOUD without risk.

The installer/updater program has now been corrected for this issue.

This mod looks really interesting but I can't see a full changelog?

I understand that it changes a lot of internal stuff and vastly optimizes the general performance and AI, but on the moddb page it's also said that it includes parts of other mods. So I'd love to have more explanations about that.

Is the interface altered? Are there new units?

I find the building icons really bad in the vanilla game. Does LOUD change them or is it compatible with a mod which would allow for clearer icons? (I don't even know yet if that does exist.. I simply reinstalled the game, last time I played was years ago)

There is no proper changelog for loud.

There is also no list of mods. Loud comes with some mods from other people (with alterations to make them work better with the ai) like TotalMayhem, Blackops, Supreme Score Board, GAZ_UI, Massfabmanager and maybe some more.

Loud also comes with the advanced strategic icon mod (will be an executable which you need to run in your bin folder) so you can use that to make strategic icons bigger/look different.
