total mayhem icon
i thought i did everything the read me said but the game soft locks when i start loading into the game and i would like to see what im building and have no idea what to do

Where did you get Total Mayhem from ? In the wild, it comes in two forms - either a single SCD file - which can go into your gamedata folder - OR - as a set of loose files that go into one of the 3 possible MODS folders.

It also quite possible that you've installed it correctly - BUT - it conflicts with the version of the game you have (we're assuming your using the Steam version of the game). This would only be possible to know, for sure, if we could see your game log file. Not sure that's possible thru these forums.
