SuPCom won't start
Hi All,

I have a problem starting the game. The game just won't start. I have removed it, reinstalled it, but no effect. Tried all kind of fixing solutions.
Here is an extract of the log file:

Apparently it is a ntdll.dll error. I have no idea how to fix this issue. I was able to play the game in the past with no issues. Other games under Steam run fine, so I don't think that's the problem. Any help would be much appreciated!

Thank you for the response. I reinstalled Windows earlier this week and that did the trick. When starting the game, the system asked to install a certain NT driver. The game starts now!

UPDATE: Game is not responding. Again it is the ntdll.dll error. All other games just run fine. Anyone has an idea?

I uninstalled steam, reinstalled. Uninstalled the game, reinstalled. I can't even find the map with game.pref in it. Only the local files in the Steam map.

Did you install other software (e. g. games) or drivers meanwhile or updated Windows (most likely)? Have a look at your installation history. I guess at least one of it brought a component on your computer which broke SC:FA for you.

Did you read/follow the whole guide I linked above?

I tried all of the above mentioned things. Went through great lenghts trying to fix it. And yes, I have been looking at possible software that could interrupt this. All other games just work well, including games from Steam, so I suppose it is not Steam that doesn't work. Will take another look at programms I installed and see if any of them interferes.

OK, found the guilty software. Certain services related to work from home software are disturbing the start of SC. The problem isn't really solved, but at least now I know which services I have to kill in order to open the game.
