Drive accordingly :D
What exactly makes driving hard for you?
Personally, i don't have auto driving activated, so i don't know how this changes things, but i don't have any issues with it.
The vehicle definitely makes a difference, some are hard to control. The quad actually seems to handle a lot better than it did in earlier FC games, and the bike with sidecar also was easy to drive. Those monstrosities the enemy uses were terrible to drive.
No longer is it "MAXIMUM FORWARD SPEED" or "STOP!!". Now, I can crawl a vehicle forward, or turn slowly, if I need to be precise (landing a helicopter in a very narrow space between trees, for example).
Learning the Handbrake 360 is the way forward. Holding W + A or D + Space. Release Space when you are facing the direction you want to go. In fact holding Space whilst turning is a common thing for me to do when in tight spots with the Highwaymen.
Thanks, great community.
controllers is about finding the sweet spot and hold on it.
keyboard is clicking when necessary.
I can't confirm that because I don't have a car :(
Trick to KB steering is to make small adjustments and tickle the controls. Being too heavy handed will end up with the vehicle wrapped around a tree.
-You need to get in the vehicle (maybe not necesary but I always do).
-Then open the map and Right-Click with mouse to set a destination (maybe is enough if destination is set before getting in vehicle but that does not work for me).
-If its done properly, you will see a Blue "marker" with arrows over the road. Its a wide ribbon almost as big as the road. If you see that then you are set.
-I press W to start going and Shift to start the auto to follow the blue "road". The vehicle goes all by itself to the marker.
-You can actually mark destinations miles apart and unless you get shot or have some other weird thing (I had a deer under my tires rotating for 10 minutes), the vehicle goes by itself following that magic blue road.
Ok, maybe I am not the best to describe and someone else can make a better guide, But I do recommend adding it into the Guides for the game. That was one of the most annoying things for me in the past and in other far crys... Now Its real fun
