Whats with the ugly graphics? This is supposed to be a PS4 remaster? Then please explain explain why it looks like a PS3 game graphics wise. You rather see Sega put money in new Yakuza games ? Good, good, then start with Yakuza 3 Kiwami as that would be new to all! But sure release Yakuza 3 HD remaster in its sorry state and lets see if its flop or pop. A dangerous premonition: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nzxSpe29z08&t=1279s
If you read the article suggesting for the Kiwami treatment, the reason Kenzan is mentioned is because Kenzan is the first RGG title to release on the PS3, and it benefits the most from updating it. Kenzan came after Yakuza 2.
A remaster is a remaster. It's not a remake. Do you understand that? Of course a remaster of a PS3 game would look like a PS3 game. It might render at a higher resolution and the textures might be a higher resolution, but the texture and animation quality won't change.
There are a lot of people eagerly waiting for Yakuza 3 to release West side since the original release had lots of cut content. Not because it'll be "new to all." It'll be new to you, judging from what you've been saying you started the series on PC.
Why would Sega waste money remaking a recently remastered game? Their road map is far outstretched with Yakuza 4 and 5 Remaster already out in Japan. Why come back to 3 to remake it? Judgement had to be remade following an actor incident, and Shin Yakuza is in the pipeline. RGG Studio doesn't have the time or resources to remake 3.
Long time fans want the full series experience. I didn't complain when Yakuza 5 finally got localized for the PS3 when PS4 was in full force. I was so happy because I already imported the game thinking that it'll never come State-side. I imported Kenzan and Ishin because I didn't think they'll be localized. But here we are, Yakuza series on Steam. Talks about Kenzan Kiwami by a developer. As one series fan, I'm grateful, not spiteful at Sega.
Look at the Phantasy Star fandom. They are so excited that finally they get to play PSO2 on XB1 and PC. They don't care about graphics, they care that they get to finally experience it.
I hope, just for you, that Kiwami 3 never happens. I hope they announce it on April 1st so you stupidly get your hopes up. I wish pure, distilled, self inflicted misery on you. But most of all, I want you to have the mouth/anal sphincter swapping procedure you went through reversed, because all this talking out your butt is resulting in crap being spewed ever where, and while it's clear you've gotten used to it, everyone else is tried of your verbal feces piling up everywhere. And I do mean EVERYWHERE. You contaminate every single conversation you appear in with negative, off topic emissions of the exact same motive and it's beyond old.
I mean, have you ever heard the turn of phrase “opinions are like a-holes and you should keep yours to yourself?” Well, you need to keep your entire being to away from everyone else. Sure, you've single handedly advance the zoology of sentient crap caverns and in a way, it's impressive. Truly, how does someone so full of it manage to even type? Even Strong Bad would ask how it's done. But then the reality, i.e. the stink, of your repetitive exhaust of excrement piles snaps me back to the reality of how much I just want to you stop. To be done with the constant defecation of the same pointless matter over and over again from you.
Kiwami 3 would be cool, but frankly since you are so entitled, ungrateful and obnoxious to everyone else you, personally, don't freaking deserve it.
You dont even own it so your opinion is null and void.
I don't need to own any game to call out a pile of crap. Also, PS3's exist, as do shared steam libraries. Not that I could compare lists, as your profile is hidden, coward.

As for Dead Souls / Of The End and Kurohyō: Ryū ga Gotoku Shinshō, these, compared to Ishin! would need "completely remaking" (implying that the "additional work" he mentioned in connection with the latter game would be something less than a full-on "Kiwami" remake.
