How spooky is it?
On a scale from ''Dead Risng to Silent Hill P.T.'' ? lol

It seems like Left4Dead but in VR, and i don't find L4D scary.
But VR does give it more immersion, so a bit extra scary then?

I doubt that it's scary like Resident Evil, right?

I'm a pretty big wuss. I don't necessarily find it spooky scary, more just stressful. I have the same feeling with this that I do with HL: Alyx

That said, just started it for the first time and I probably only have 30 minutes of play time and I'm officially taking my first break
I almost always take on run and then I put it down for a break.
I feel like my senses are constantly on edge, although the game itself isn't really that scary. I'd say it's more intense than scary.
Alright, about 3.5 hours in now. Gotta say it's not so bad. I still only really do a day at a time, and once you craft a bow and your own knife it gets a lot easier. Everything shambles pretty slowly, just grab their head, stick 'em with the pointy end, and carry on your way.

I must say, though, when you get a good portion of days into the game and the Zombies have increased in numbers it gets more hectic, IMO (:

Oh no :')
I didn't find it scary or spooky at all, I was more angry and annoyed about it. ^_^ There were moments where I didn't hear something, or I could hear it but thought it was far away only to have it grab and start biting me.

But otherwise, the "scare" of the zombies wore off really quickly for me (personally) due to constant respawning. While I'm not a Resident Evil fan, this game is nowhere near that game in any standard, lol.

So on your scale... I'd say.. Dead Rising but without the comedy or goofiness. :)
I don't feel afraid often, even when I feel like I should be. It is disappointing to me that firing a gun is not a "brings all hell down upon you" experience. The tension is there, but the fear of your own actions and decisions is not.

There are some spooky parts, I'm fairly new to the game but as the days go by more zombies spawn around the map, on my 12th day I was doing some quest where I have to steal some stuff from a building being guarded by a human group, Zombies took out all of the guards outside and when I was done I opened the main door and literally 7 zombies at my face, That was quite thrilling and had to go look for a different exit while I didn't have much time left.

Also there is a gym mission that is quite spooky, The first quest where I don't complete it in one run.

but yeah, gunshots are weird and it's not always terrifying.
