Game is even MORE censored *UPDATE* CONFIRMED UNCUT PC VERS.

We all know that the game was already censored in japan thanks to sonys new policy (they removed the touch feature) which will be not added back for the pc version, because they removed it during development.
This was already something sad, but now the release for the west has even more censorship

The boycott of ZZ already helped that 2 other games from, the publisher are at least uncensored on PC (even if the changes were minor), so we need to do this again.

Well hopefully this will have very poor sales for Spike Chunsoft. I'm not buying a censored game that could easily be uncensored for the PC if not for lazy developers in Spike Chunsoft.

so months before release sony had the game censored just for it to release on the sony platform. i really hope we get a full uncensored game.

Because it's a port first and foremost.
The announcement seemed to only be about the PS4 version though, since there was no mention of the Steam release in the press release, so I still have hope only the console version is censored... Nevermind, it was about the localised version as a whole. I still hope they'll backtrack and not pull another Zanki Zero on us by simply porting the Western PS4 version with all the censorship it implies. Really, it should only be a matter of switching assets, and they've already done that for Crystar (with the opening), why couldn't they do the same here?

MY BIGGEST PROBLEM IS.....
They should at least release the jp version uncensored on steam, if they think its not okay to release this for the west.
This would give us at least the chance to mod this censorship out

Yep... But there's a good chance they just port the Western version with all of its changes, slap the Japanese script on top of it for the Steam release and call it a day. Surely it's too difficult to add a toggle and use different assets for most porting teams...
I still really hope the original dev team is behind the port to bring the game uncensored AND with the touch feature. I mean, Spike Chunsoft used to do some ports in-house (with support from Abstraction Games) back when they had no Western branch, Conception II being one of them.

Nothing I hope; at least the PC version should be identical to the Japanese PS4 version. And I think they've been fairly transparent about the changes in every game from Zanki Zero onwards, while other companies would not have communicated about it and left players wondering what exactly was changed after the game's release.

EDIT: Sorry, I thought this was a thread about Crystar. Ugh, I need some sleep.
