Should this be remastered?

Ok, there's the "Real RTCW" mod which is very good, but still, this could use some "official" updating.

Yes, absolutely. This is arguably the pinnacle of Wolfenstein games.
I'm not so concerned with graphics, but the gunplay could be brought up to more modern standards to make the experience more satisfying. Also ragdoll physics would be a fantastic addition. I doubt any of this will happen.

Yes it should have been remastered years ago. The problem is when Bethesda took over Id games several years ago they also took this game with what they acquired from Id. Bethesda has their own ideas about this game and turned it into their own Wolfenstein games and this is in the form of, Wolfenstein Colossus and Wolfenstein 2, which is a spin off of Colossus. These are actually not bad games and can be fun to play, I know as I own both. However, they are not RTCW, which has a much more intelligent, deeper and interesting story line than the newer Bethesda games do. Let me end this in saying that there is Wolfenstein 2009 which looks much better than RTCW as it uses the old Doom 3 engine. Old yes but much newer than the original RTCW, which is based on the, even older Quake 3 engine. If you dig you can find Wolfenstein 2009 out there. Anyway that's my two cents worth.

A remaster can makes some levels better.

Recently I got softlocked in the jungle level and I was forced to use cheats to beat that level.

The guard that you shouldn't kill got a little suspicious and no matter what I did he always triggered the alarm and made me lose whenever I got near the truck.

I'm also not a fan of rocket launcher nazi soldiers that can one hit kill you lol.

Yeah I second these. Although it would be amazing if they remade the game from scratch with a new engine but stayed 100% true to the original. I would love to see a modern engine with this game.

I am wondered as well. New Colossus had some woke cringe and Youngblood had a lot. Idiots will conflate woke with diverse thou and gaslight how being against woke is being against diversity.

Also, I really doubt they would do a better remaster job than the Real RTCW mod. Not only it wouldn't look as good graphically, I really doubt they would bother adding new content like difficulty, weapons, co-op and the console exclusive content Real RCTW is working on adding.
