Is the MP still alive?

Just curious if the MP in this game still has people, or maybe if they're all on Enemy Territory. Also, is there a difference between playing MP on this game opposed to Enemy Territory? I've always wanted to play this game online, but I only had really poor dial-up back when this game came out

MP is still alive and well in 2024. You can find 60/64 large maps like depot loaded with omni-bots and a few humans. The 60/64 is mostly 60 bots with 4 reserved for players. You can also run your own. With this game, options are endless. RTCW vanilla looks like ♥♥♥♥ if you try to widescreen it. RealRTCW fixes the widescreen and you can still play on same servers as RTCW.

I tried to install RealRTCW but in mp in 3 days I found only one human, the rest all bots
