When I played Elex 1 for the first time it just brought me back to those times of Gothic and Risen 1 ... I enjoyed the game incredibly and played 2 times back to back, having so much fun, because I am sucker for PB. Now I am really thinking about getting Elex 2 but I am really in a dilemma about it, they changed how the Main character looks , I also heard that the combat is downgraded in a sense as well... there are all kinds of reviews and opinions... but is it worth getting now, while it's on sale?...

Not just Elex but all their weird RPG games, I tried to play Elex 1, got it on sale for like $5 a year or two ago on Xbox. I decided to finally give it a try because avowed was boring. Playing Elex is exactly what I think an AI generated game would be, it’s so strange especially the dialogue. It’s bad but interesting, maybe that’s why people like it?...

The combat was getting worse and worse starting from Gothic 2, and tedious. It was tolerable in Risen 1, then getting worse in Risen 2. By the time they got to Elex 1 it was so hardcore, it was unintelligible for a casual player. Only die hard fans of this gameplay could like it. Dying in one hit for many hours?
