Stopped reading right here. There isn't only "a" build and they are not all objectively bad. Sure you could have overplayed and S2W builds might be subjectively bad but I really doubt you played every version across all mastery combinations with EoR or Yugol's Relic.
Before any nerfs to SR 75 (when it first came out) I was using Yugol's on a Witch Hunter duel dmg acid/cold which nuked the crap outta it so the "bad" part just doesn't compute. But hey, best of luck in Undecember.
This is the best post I've seen on steam for a while, it's so genuine and heartwarming. I checked Undecember on reddit and apparantly they have 3 spin to win builds and they're all viable. Let me rephrase that, 3 DIFFERENT abilities that are spinning.
If you check fan data or survey, spin to win builds come on top when it comes to popularity. But its so lacking in bigger arpg... I wonder why that is? When it's avaliable, the spin to win builds are far off compared to stronger builds. I don't know what Devs are doing nowdays.
Yes Last Epoch has one spin to win build on paladin, but I don't lik the character.
They're all objectively bad. I compare them with S tier builds. Grim dawn does alot of things right, spin to win is not one of them.
I don't know...
Doesn't LE have a million ways you can build Warpath with each different subclass for warrior, anyway?
I've played everyhting actualy as a arpg veteran. It's just this season I want to spin, simple as that.
GD has what, 10 masteries in combination of 2 with a relic granted S2W and EoR. Without looking at mastery combinations, that's one build per damage type in EoR and with enough conversion you can get the relic to do full phys, fire, acid, chaos, vit...not to mention duel damage types which are viable with knowledge. You can argue they feel the same, mmmm sure a moderate amount but the performance will vary vastly depending on mastery/devotion/gear selection.
I seen at least 2-3 S2W LE builds that clear the pinnacle boss easily.
If something beats all content in a reasonable time frame (or limited amount of dying in SC) then it sounds like the job is being done appropriately by the developers.
This is nothing more then a subjective self imposed limitation + a forum post to tell everyone...which is cool I guess. But i cannot see myself coming here to make a full post about me wishing x skill/build was better or S tier because "I" want a certain performance.
