Last Epoch
I can't believe I'm currently installing Undecember...
instead of playing Last Epoch. I'm just in the mood for some strong spin to win build playing a character that I love.

Diablo 4 is gonna be dropped because you cant enjoy future seasons without DLC. POE is just over the top, better wait for part 2. So the only options left were Grim dawn which I already played to death and has a bad spin to win build or Torchlight infinite. Torchlight has GREAT spin to win build, the strongest out there but the game regressed since last year. When I open up the game nowadays, I get bombarded with 100 gotchya's, it's so depressing.

But then I remembered, we still have Undecember. It's so freaking sad I have to go back to Undecember but here we are... The installation just finished I see now. Good luck to you guys.

Stopped reading right here. There isn't only "a" build and they are not all objectively bad. Sure you could have overplayed and S2W builds might be subjectively bad but I really doubt you played every version across all mastery combinations with EoR or Yugol's Relic.

Before any nerfs to SR 75 (when it first came out) I was using Yugol's on a Witch Hunter duel dmg acid/cold which nuked the crap outta it so the "bad" part just doesn't compute. But hey, best of luck in Undecember.

I know GamErS don't exactly allow people to like things, but Torchlight Infinite is pretty great. Best endgame of the batch. I just close the gathcha lures and remember they entice other people to let me keep playing for free. I too checked out Undecember again this season, and it's come a long way from last I played (on release). Much more F2P friendly now and improved inventory space. A little . . . soulless at times? But it can scratch an itch. Both games should be given more of a chance by people, if not for this "it's mobile; it sucks" knee jerk philosophy. Of course, if anybody's tried them and sincerely just not liked them, that's cool too!
Enjoy that p2w garbage then! :D

This is the best post I've seen on steam for a while, it's so genuine and heartwarming. I checked Undecember on reddit and apparantly they have 3 spin to win builds and they're all viable. Let me rephrase that, 3 DIFFERENT abilities that are spinning.

If you check fan data or survey, spin to win builds come on top when it comes to popularity. But its so lacking in bigger arpg... I wonder why that is? When it's avaliable, the spin to win builds are far off compared to stronger builds. I don't know what Devs are doing nowdays.

Yes Last Epoch has one spin to win build on paladin, but I don't lik the character.

They're all objectively bad. I compare them with S tier builds. Grim dawn does alot of things right, spin to win is not one of them.
Undecember is a good game but I left it because of the horrible gear upgrades that was so dependent on RNG with low rates on the good affixes. It was like beating my head on the wall.
I unistalled Undecember. Yes it has better gameplay, spin to win for me but my brain eventualy prevailed. If I continued down that path, we both know I would have donated trash money in order to progress. What to do now? I have no clue. Perhaps I could wait untill POE new season release in 3 days... I heard they're finaly seriously buffing melee builds after so many years, I couold try my spin to win there now. On top of all, they now have auction house. No more 3rd party!!!!

I don't know...
Imagine literally being unable to play an ARPG outside of spin to win builds lmao. Not even TRYING anything else, Jesus.

Doesn't LE have a million ways you can build Warpath with each different subclass for warrior, anyway?

I've played everyhting actualy as a arpg veteran. It's just this season I want to spin, simple as that.
The issue here is a subjective want to play something without accepting upfront limitations. Most of PoE's builds, with enough currency thrown at it, can be S tier - especially 3:1 voices and a 150 adorned (current league). It will clear everything and fast. If you want to farm currency for those things, there are lots of guides out to afk farm simulacrum and blight/ultimatum that will build you enough currency to buy the adorned/voices and make your ultimate S2W...the next league will likely make voices even easier to get and cheaper - likely.

GD has what, 10 masteries in combination of 2 with a relic granted S2W and EoR. Without looking at mastery combinations, that's one build per damage type in EoR and with enough conversion you can get the relic to do full phys, fire, acid, chaos, vit...not to mention duel damage types which are viable with knowledge. You can argue they feel the same, mmmm sure a moderate amount but the performance will vary vastly depending on mastery/devotion/gear selection.

I seen at least 2-3 S2W LE builds that clear the pinnacle boss easily.

If something beats all content in a reasonable time frame (or limited amount of dying in SC) then it sounds like the job is being done appropriately by the developers.

This is nothing more then a subjective self imposed limitation + a forum post to tell everyone...which is cool I guess. But i cannot see myself coming here to make a full post about me wishing x skill/build was better or S tier because "I" want a certain performance.
