Map and loot reset xD

It's intentional, they don't want to encourage backtracking for loot.

Set up a loot filter or get one from the forums and it won't be a issue.

It is a bug that they failed to fix, since launch of early access.
So now its labeled as intentional. Nice to see people eat the bait easily.

Yeah in D2 the maps don't reset until you leave the game. This is definitely a bug.

Portals are useless because it resets the entire map and dropped loot. I don't even bother unless my bag is full or I'm at a WP. It's not a feature, maybe more lack there of. I imagine it's also a bit of a resource saver on the servers. They don't need to keep all theses instances open if it's destroyed when you leave.

You're not supposed to be selling loot, it's a waste of time. Getting the gold as you kill groups is much more efficient. The map resetting is great if you want to farm a boss. Otherwise you should be clearing a map and going to the next one without resetting it, because you have no reason to town portal.

Why would you prefer to run through empty maps?

Even POE allows you to reset maps with a click, in last epoch your fingers are saved from RSI by the map auto re-filling for you to get more xp/loot!

I definitely make most of my money from selling loot. Two or three amulets can be worth more gold than I will see drop in an entire Echo.

After 200 or 300 hours of playtime, I don't understand the problem with it automatically resetting. I don't need to log out to farm the same area again, for me it's a win.
