A few questions about the monolith

I only just beat the story and have begun the monolith. I still have no idea about corruption or monolith levels people talk about, but I'm not worried about it atm.

1. Loading screen tip says something about the more enemies you kill the better reward. Is that referring to the stability thing, of the more enemies you kill the better bonus stability?

2. Besides loot is there a reason to keep killing enemies after I've gotten max bonus stability? Does this bonus stability even matter?

3. What I really wanna know is how do you target farm timelines? No idea what it's talking about. When I select a node in the monolith it doesn't tell me the timeline.

1. I am unsure. I know that the further you allow the monolith to branch, the stronger the rewards and the stronger the enemy buffs.

2. No. If you going to max stability to reset the monolith or fight the bosses, then do that. If you are clearing for XP and/or farming specific rewards, complete them as fast as possible.

3. Each monolith timeline drops a higher rate of specific times. In that example, the Age of Winter drops rings and amulets as the echo rewards. So if you want to target farm ring and amulets drops of all types (exalted, unique, etc.) then you would focus run this monolith.

All Timeline bosses have a pool of exclusive Uniques that can drop. They also provide the player with a Blessing, which is a permanent buff to either power or farming/leveling efficiency. Just like Uniques, each boss has their own exclusive Blessing pool.

I'm still on the first monolith "fall of the outcasts". So you're saying later I'll be able to choose the timeline?

Target farming means the specific bonus rewards certain maps offer. If an item drops more frequently from a given timeline, it's not more common in the general loot pool, it's common in the bonus rewards for completing an echo.
