Sadly poe 2 has a long wait. There are other ARPG's out right now though that are much much better than this game.

Last Epoch is one of the worst to release lately. I would highly recommend undecember if you have not tried it, and are looking for an arpg to waste some time in until poe 2 drops.

Looks at reviews of Undecember... interesting that LE is praised more than Undecember.

Then you have a lot of bugs and stability issues with servers more than LE

I am a PoE player since beta and I will play Lost Epoch. Why? Because why not? If it's fun and has great systems in place then it deserves to be successful and I'll have a good time. With GGG being the only big player on the market that actually tries to innovate with their game this genre needs some healthy competition. And PoE itself has long standing issues, so any new title in this field that shows some alternative ways to solve genre-problems is very welcome.

I am most looking forward to the solo/trade system Last Epoch has. If they actually managed to present a viable solution for this, then it could carry over into other games too. Which is a net win for the entire genre.

Also, Undecember is mobile game with all the monetization you'd expect there. Spread your cheeks so that a soulless suit can fist you for every penny you're worth. Most of the people playing that game are whales deep into the sunk cost fallacy. On the steam forum there was a guy complaining the other day that he didn't get some shiny wings after dumping 300 bucks into gambling and no pitty system kicking in. Then he got them after spending $500. If that sounds like a good time to you, go ahead.

I'd guess because Last Epoch has much better monetization than Undecember, and Grim Dawn was released nearly a decade ago.

Not disagreeing here. Never played Grim Dawn, but I've heard good things. I just think it makes sense this game is currently favoured since it's in the middle of release hype.

I bought and am playing this till POE2 comes out than I will try that game. If money is tight for you and you are not interested in this game it really would not make sense to buy this and just wait for POE2. however I could afford the 35 and look forward to playing POE2 when it does come out. Just watch some videos and see if you like it , not really a big deal.

note: Undecember comes with a nasty malware 3rd party rootkit (anti-cheat supposedly) that will force you to MANUALLY remove it (or use the tool they were forced to provide after the backlash)

It didn't say it was installing it, and it wasn't removed when you uninstalled the game. It was horrible to have to manually remove registry entries to kill it off finally. So be warned.
