That said it has improved a lot already over the months and years so have patience. Also worth noting Unity is always a bit hungry and poor in this regard so its likely never going to run like butter.
It runs real smooth.. just makes my the fans in my rig kick into high gear.
Worst case scenario you can just downclock your GPU since it's way overkill for this game anyway.
Heh.. i do have an MSI 3080. Whenever i play games in 4k... sure I hear the fans increase from just idle. As I should, but when playing Last Epoch... they really kick into high gear.
This would be my advice as well. Enable Vsync and/or limt frames I thnk its an option in settings right?
When its running over 144 fps my card cooks (and so do i). limiting it to 60 helped a bunch.
Yep i'm in the same boat. I swear i feel like that meme where people are making all these suggestions and i'm like.. ♥♥♥♥ i already did it and side eyeing them.
Somehow nobody mentioned the ultimate advice: Update your drivers.
If your rocking 144 fps (or more) your cards going to be warmer than if you have it limited to 60 fps (and you probably won't even notice). If it runs cooler, less fan noise right?
I have the same issue with high frame rates/temps with valheim (another unity engine game) and I limit frames in that game as well. Went from low mid 80's to high 50's-mid 60s.
