Let me know if you still have issues after the update and we can work to resolve them. I've figured out where the issues are coming from, so if there are any still lingering, it's just some slight tweaking on my part to get it working on everyone's system unanimously>
Thanks for your help and all your bug reports! Every report helps me track down the issue deeper and deeper, making it easier for me to fix it.
Logitech controller?
It looks like if you're using a Logitech f310 or something similar, you may have to go to Logitech's website and download drivers for the Right Thumb stick to work properly. I will continue to investigate this issue, but at the moment, that is my recommendation.
Thank you!
For character controls A is B and Dpad Up is Dpad down. So i have to jump with B and heal with DPAD UP.
Controller model: Logitech F310.
The game is playable and i will play it despite the inverted buttons for now.
Logitech F710
Works with all other games; even games made by thirteen-year-olds using Game Maker
I'm not sure if you're using a major brand developer kit or if this all your own hard code but if using something like Unity the Xinput template included works fine with Logi's set to Xinput mode.
Also there's a way for people to completely turn off Steam's forced gamepad template (simple tick box in settings concerning gamepad / big screen) which the majority of Steam gamers I know switch it off on set up as it's mostly there to arrest most gamepads to promote Valve's home brand game pad.
Also please add an option to switch off gamepad support all together so if you can't configure it properly we can use third party mapping software.
I'll look into that, thanks
Thanks, I'll have to get one of these controllers so that I can reporduce your issues.
Hello, thanks for letting us know. We are working on more fixes and updates that should resolve your controller issues.
EDIT: ok i found that if i remove the xbox controller settings in steam it fixes the issue
For some reason, on my xbox 360, the camera always moves from the left stick. How to fix? Played the demo
It's currently set to up on the DPAD (I need to make this more obvious), at some point in the coming days I may be adding support for Gamepad button remapping
I just purchased this game in the Steam winter sale and have massive problems with all of my xBox 360 controllers (3 wireless and 1 wired).
Very often in-game, the camera starts to rotate all over the place when i try to look around with the R stick, making this game unplayable for me.
The left stick also has issuse as it seem to both move cursors (in menue) or the main character without actually pressing anything all of a sudden. So precise playing is nearly impossible.
To solve this I increased the deadzone in the Steam controller settings but that does not help.
I removed the xbox configuration assistant in the Steam controller settings but that doesnt help either.
I really love everything about this game, but I do not want to fight a messy controller implementation. Can anyone help please?
Right now I am thinking about giving this game a really negative review as I am really disappointed with the controls.
I do not want this game to suffer from a messed up controller implementation as everything else is really great. Thanks in advance.
