(in B4 "But you should be using Frost Arrows")
B4? Biome 4? Mountains?
Meaning someone will probably at some point suggest that you use Frost arrows instead of Fire arrows but that doesn't take into account where you are in the game - you probably only have access to Fire arrows at this point.
No damage stacks on itself that I'm aware.
With poison arrows it's really hard to tell whether it's stacking with the bow's poison or not - good question.
I'm not sure if the DF would be constantly resetting the duration of the poison arrows' DoT.
Captain Obvious side note: fire arrows are fantastic 'tracer rounds' for night-time shooting. Great way to mark your target, especially in the gloom of the Swamp at midnight.
But by all means test it out (the double poison thing) and share what you discover. Sure a bunch of us would be keen to hear about your findings, myself included.
Another CO moments maybe... Fire arrows are also handy in crypts, etc...fire arrow into the ceiling lights up the room for a bit. Beats carrying a torch or wearing the lamp IMO. Saves an inventory slot.
needle has a pretty solid light effect as well. poison & frost not great but you can see the rounds.
