Notable changes? Censorship?
I'd like to know if there are any big changes from the Vita game and if any censorship happened between then and now. Thanks.

I don't think there was anything to censor.
Just a void DLC, they all look terrible.
The game is kinda mediocre. Character art and soundtrack are the best part of it.

That doesn't mean there is no censorship. "I don't think there is anything to censor" is what a lot of people said about Cold Steel 3 and NISA's upcoming English port of that game.

Then when NISA released the first gameplay trailer of it, I noticed an altered scene that had content cut-out of it as compared vs. the original Japanese version.

NISA fanboys viciously attacked me for publicly disclosing that information of the cut content and because I rightfully complained about NISA's butchering of the game.

The fanboys defended NISA by asserting it is "timing issue"...as if that would be a valid excuse [which it wouldn't, because either way, it's still content that NISA was/is cutting out of the game, and it's still content that NISA could, should, must, and is fully capable of restoring before publishing the game...but will they? Who knows?].

I consider the OP's question an open question until someone provides definitive proof that none of the content from the original Japanese game fails to appear in the NISA version, whether it be due to censorship, or 'timing issues,' or any other reason.

NISA owns the IP. They can publish what they want. You can buy what you want. I have it on switch and give zero ♥♥♥♥♥ if it has all the same ones and zeros as other versions. I'm enjoying it, which is what matters to me.

"Should" is fine, since it's an opinion. "Must" is where you lose me. You "must" exercise more control over how you spend your money. It's 100% possible to avoid feeling ripped off by knowing what you buy before you pay.

They reversed family names and given names order for characters.

So no purchase from me.

That is literally how every single video game made in Japan does it, with very few exceptions
Now that I think of it, you were probably being sarcastic.

My bad.

Trails of Cold Steel 3 is fine. I don't even know what scene you're referring to, but that's fine, because the game doesn't feel censored or altered. Even if it is, if you have to have played both versions to notice the change then it doesn't really matter unless the change actually makes the game bad somehow.

Yeah. I'm not sure why he thinks Trails of Cold Steel 3 was somehow major censored or manipulated.
I think he was making up stuff.
