When it comes to being cheap and cutting corners, the lack of a dub is the least of KT's problems.

true you are not wrong with that one

I'm really bummed about it too. Kind of ruins it for me a little.

I don't mind it too much, and I understand why they haven't dubbed the past few games. Dubs cost a fair amount of money and unfortunately the Atelier games just don't sell. I think it would be good for them to try dubbing the new trilogy after Lulua comes out, and analyze if it's a good idea to dub again.

♥♥♥♥ eng dub don't need. + I am not English speaking.
so I would prefer to get the game 2 months after the release in Japan than 6 months and more

The games don't sell because KT give them terrible rushed low quality localisations and zero marketing, like how Nelke had no Steam page before release, and then this price tag. And let's never forget how KT never told anyone that Totori Plus was even being localised and it just showed up on PSN one day. If KT were competent at marketing this franchise in the west it could easily be as popular as Neptunia.

game isn't even fully dub in Japanese lmao, most dialogue voice was just "hmmm", "ahh" , "huh" :steamfacepalm:

Well it makes sense considering how massive the actual cast is.

That's not even remotely true, Atelier was notable for having almost every event scene voiced in Japanese. On the other hand, the English dubs have always only ever been partial dubs that voice 20% of what the Japanese track did at best.
Well, unless you mean specifically Nelke, which would mean it's a departure in how much is voiced.

Didn't think I'd care, but yeah...the English dub is one of the best parts of this series IMHO. Haven't bought one since the dropped it (I only own one Atelier game on Steam, btw...the rest on PS3/Vita/PS4).

Why would you play Japanese games with characters speaking English and in valley girl accent?

The smart won't ask, the fool won't understand.

Not being dubbed ruins the fun if you can't understand what they are saying... usually I played the dub for fun, and then replayed it in Japanese.

You know the games have subtitles, right?
