With this in mind, hand grenades become increasingly significant for boss fights, specifically G2 and G4. Regardless of your FPS i'd recommend to knife bosses whenever possible too for bonus damage and to save ammo (G1 you should knife hard from the very start of the fight until he stops being stunned).
Since it's Claire B specifically I'd also note that mastering the Quickdraw's unique firing style really helps, too. It's a great gun and very useful for fast aiming and firing, and fits a speedrun perfectly.
Let us know how you do?
It is all about having the right route and not wasting time dancing around zombies but shooting them to flinch or in some cases burning them with the grenade launcher.
Also, the SMG is the ultimate zombie-avoider weapon, just shoot off one arm, then one leg.
Didnt bother to upgrade SLS60.
Supressed SMG is great to delimb zombies without alerting Mr X.

I find Claire much easier, because the SMG makes short work of the bosses compared to Leon's weaponry. Hope the guide helps!
