This is one of the reasons I find it dumb when people recommend hardcore as a starting difficulty, limiting players to 2/3 of the inventory in a game about inventory management.
Nothing dumb to it. The original game only gave you 8 spaces. 2 extra if you grabbed the pouch but then you couldn't use it on the other character. This game gives both characters an extra 6 spaces nearly double the inventory even on Hardcore. With the only thing that kind of makes up for it being that your weapons end up taking double space if you upgrade them.
