Why do people keep posting this crap. Their is no chance this game is being released in 4 months. I think this qualifies as trolling. Stop spreading misinformation.

Only $49? Definitely fake... : P

(minor sarcasm... but that's pretty incredible if true)

Store dates are not always accurate, take it with a pinch of gun powder A XD
But it could be true. DOOM Eternal is also coming out March!

It could be true. If it has a single campaign like the original, it can be done in a year. RE2Re, despite its five-year development time, was completed mostly in a year as well.

Do we know it's in the works?

Yes.

After the success of RE2 remake why wouldn't they remake it? They also have the engine and a lot of the city made so development will be quicker than RE2 remake.

That said I don't think it's anywhere close to being release. That link is false information. Unless capcom says so themselves any "leak" is false.

Also you sure you aren't confusing Persona 5 Royal? That comes out to NA and other parts of the world March 31st.

Capcom is a large diversified production studio with three internal game making divisions in Japan alone and the Capcom Group owns 15 subsidiaries worldwide.

I don't see why it's so unfathomable to a lot of people they had two teams working on RE 2R & 3R concurrently with closely matching release dates.

Having said that, however, it doesn't appear that RE 3R will have a 2020 release date and the host & producer of the awards show is denying the leak that the game will be making an appearance on 12/13.

It would seem Capcom wants to spend a little extra time tweaking the RE engine and probably addressing fan concerns or complaints so the shortcomings of RE 2R don't reappear in 3R.

Capcom is of yet to make any official statement, but a little TLC tweaking the game would be my guess at least.

How does that article confirm it won't be out in 2020? As the article goes on to state, there are still several events they can announce it at that are all relatively soon

It very clearly says "Resident Evil 3 Remake" in the link... : P

It's possible but it might be a bit of a reach.

Considering the obvious environmental clue pointing to Nemesis, how similarly the two will probably play and a shared environment that just needs tweaking to be used; it will probably release in 2020. I don't know about March but it could be possible if they were developing Remake 2 with Remake 3 in mind. Who knows how much development time went into Remake 3 before Remake 2 released.

Not buying it, even earlier this year they said the chance of the Remake would be tied to the success of RE2 remake, in no way would they decide and have it all done by a year. (well maybe not no way but extremely unlikely unless they were hiding it's production till now)

So i'm going to call fully fake.
So this is debatable. RE 7 wasn't good, but Capcom still pushed forward with 2R. Capitalizing on the success of 2R Capcom has stated they will dive into more remakes insinuating that RE 3R won't be the last.

I think Capcom had invested in both projects and still would have pushed out 3R at the bare minimum even if 2R hadn't met their sales goals and expectations.

They would have probably stopped other planned remakes at the 3R mark, but once the decision to reboot RE 2 had been made I fully believe they intended to follow up with 3R regardless.

Now the chances are good for 3R and more remakes to follow.
