Deluxe edition worth it?

On sale it's $5 more, but I don't generally need soundtracks or costumes, but I like to check before picking, any argument why it's worth it?

If you don't want the original soundtrack or skin mods (they mostly rely on DLC costumes), then no, there is nothing interesting in it.

You get the extra pistols as well with the deluxe edition. They help out when you are first starting the playthrough.

Just some cheat weapons, couple costumes, and a sound track. The real bonus is that due to the extra costumes you can load more modded costumes for the game from say Nexus Mods, or REmods.

How? They are the three worst weapons Leon or Claire can use. The only worse weapon in the entire game is Ada's little pea shooter.

Don't know why people hate those 3 pistols. I barely used Matilda and Claires handgun. I mostly use Weskers one.

Neither have I felt that "they sucked", nor have I thought they were OP.

They are also extra good for a speedrun, imo. Why? Cuz, who has time to gather mods for matilda/etc?

TL;DR the DLC pistols are not trash, not the best, but not garbage either.

I agree that the Samurai Edges are more aesthetically pleasing than the upgraded Matilda that looks like a future weapon of some sort
But like it was said, damage wise it's nonsense to use it in the long run

I think its worth it for the skins and the original soundtrack. The samurai edge pistols are some pretty nice looking pistols. But it seems to me like the Wesker variant is actually slightly better than the Matilda before the last upgrade. I noticed faster aim focusing and maybe a better headshot chance.
