Is there any way to change the buttons? As in directional buttons = AWSD & shooting & bombs = H, J ?

remember to use SHIFT to slowdown your movement, I havent seen it in your keybind suggestion so I'm a little worried you are not using it

It's okay... guess.. playing this one needs a good controller for it...

Last time I checked, button config for gamepads didn't really work either, and I used JoyToKey to remap some controls while not being able to unmap the default buttons.
This is a great game, but it has some technical issues.

You can use AHK (AutoHotkey) to remap controls for games that don't have an option for key remapping.

Yup, create a new autohotkey script file and add this in it (based on your hotkeys in the OP):

w::up
a::left
s::down
d::right
h::z
j::x
return

You can also easily modify them if you want to. Once done, just activate it by double clicking on the file, and exit later through the toolbar.
