Why so many pointless new spells.

Does the white hole even do anything different from the black hole? What about the Iplicate and Tplicate etc is even useful. There are versions of them that don't have limited charges and do the same thing.

Yes, it pushes projectiles and entities away instead of pulling them towards. You would know this if you used the spell or looked at the wiki

--Plicate spells are neither just formation spells or just copy spells, they do both and are unlocked by default. Again, you would know this if you used the spells or read the wiki

well in this game experimenting with different spells is KEY. just take a look at op wands that do million dmg, they look pointless but work :D

If you cast both holes at the same time without any deviance in their path, they will cancel each other out and won't affect any projectiles nearby.

And the white hole is slightly better, because you don't attract the explosives or poly potions around you

I'm not complaining about it like Damnion, but so far I'm with him - neither of these things sound like they warrant adding a copy of an existing spell

Most spells are useless by themselves. It's about the interactions and spell combos.

For example at first glance "Add trigger" looks bad. "Triggers are used to deliver payloads, what's the point of wasting a spell slot if common "spark bolt with trigger" does same thing?"

Well turns out it has some strange quirks and crucial role in long distance travel wands and some most broken wand builds. Can't wait to see what world erasers community creates out of these new ones.
