Giant spider legs
This perk rlly adds a new way to play, it really changes it up and requires a different style tactic to play.

More like this would be interesting and fun I think... Maybe a bit more refines so its ven more like the spiders in the jungle.

The only changes it adds is that you get to not worry about spiders in the Jungle but you do have to worry about the lamps in the Hiisi Base since your legs like to poke them and they're filled with toxic sludge for some reason. Other than that, it doesn't really have a strong enough effect to change much.

It has a downside, if the game decides your legs have lost grip on a wall you will fall until you hit the floor. This makes large gaps perilous and can loose your allot of HP or a whole run unless you learn every single nuance of it. It also really doesnt like running near roofs so you can plumet to your death trying to cross gaps from above.

Uhm sure you used it after it got changed? Losing the ability to fly freely can be a pretty big change, depending on the area you're in.

I did not know it was changed. I stand corrected.

I just picked these up for the first time today. I really liked them at first, then quickly realized they were causing issues with the ability to fly. This made it next to impossible to go upwards, forcing me to continue downward into the level. I definitely won't pick them up again until they're changed, but it is a neat idea none the less.

Yes that's the point. They used to do basically nothing, now it's a choice that completely changes your mode of movement.

You could call it "causing issues" I guess.

You can go upwards just fine. Better as before in some cicumstances, since you will never run out of levitation. Drawback is, you need a wall to cling to.

I think maybe mine just glitched out. I was near a wall, actually two walls, but couldn't levitate. The legs kept touching one wall or the other, and my flying meter would flash while I attempted flying upward. It was incredibly bizarre. But, incredibly bizarre describes this game, so I can't complain haha

There's no bug, you simply can't levitate (fly) once you have the spider legs. When you have spider legs, to go upwards in a level you must walk to a wall and climb up. No more flying.
