Goal of the game?
So it is a Rouge like...is there any ending or something to work towards?

I've seen a lot of people ask this and, I don't understand the point of the question. The fun of the game is exploring, learning how the things work, trying to build your character in the most interesting way possible, finding secrets, same as the majority of roguelikes... I've heard others say they've got to the end but I haven't gotten there and I've tried not to spoil myself too much. There really isn't much story if that's what you're after.

The devs explicitely said on the steam page that this game has actually a final boss and an ending, not polished but existing.

I do believe you can in fact beat the game via beating the final boss, but it's not very polished and apparently it's possible for some people to just get stuck at the end and not get the proper victory-based game over.

Well, I ma not a fan of endless games that much, I prefer an ending and a final goal so I guess the game is not really for me.

Where is the end, to go deeper or right or left?
I`m also not a fan of an endless games.
Exploring for that, the wand? Or kill all?
I`m still at the beginning and see no purpose to explore.

The game engine is cool and you enjoyed it, but how long?

It's not endless.

I killed the final boss in a run that lasted 3 hours and 10 minutes, and I was playing pretty slow. I have 8 hrs playtime total on the game.

There are end credits and a "Victory!" achievement etc.

The game is pretty straightforward. You go down, fight through several unique areas, and you fight a boss at the deepest point.

There's a ton more to explore, and other 'conditions' you can meet that change things up but you shouldn't spoil that part of the game. While it is a pretty linear roguelike, the entire world is interconnected and there are a lot of surprising places you can go if you set your mind to it.
The goal of a game is to have fun. This one progresses through various levels until reaching an end. Sort of what you'd probably expect. .

I'm getting the feeling there will be a hidden ending as well, possibly more challenging to get to. I haven't explored the secrets lore much so I don't know for sure.

Thank you, now I know the directions. I was at the end of the left(it`s the easiest part), and still not at the end of the right, and sure not at the end of the bottom. That is why, it was frustrated in which direction to explore, because it`s a lot to explore.
I read some guiedes about wands changes and spells(it was not clear for me too), now it`s more fun to play.
