Emerald Tablets?

I've found two so far; any idea what they're ultimately used for?

which did you find? I've found one over the mountain at the starting point - there's a floting island there, one in first mine near lava pool and one in the tree on the left side and one at the top of pyramide on the right side of map. I don't know what's their purpose yet

I found the one in the tree to the left of the starting area, and the one beside the lava pool in the first mine. I didn't know there were two more; I'll try to get over the mountain and search for the floating island.

They're just lore and have no use yet. You can throw them and read them, and that's it.

To the right of the first mine is a lava pool with bones and Tabula Smaragdina on the left.
If you cross the lava pool you get to a large deep pit surrounded by indestructible rock.
At the bottom of the pit you can go left into the snow level.
(You can also get into it from the snow level.)
If you climb up the right wall all the way you get the an Orb Room which has an orb (Thunderstorm) and Emerald Tablet VII.
(You can dig out the top of the orb room and get back above ground.)

There is also Emerald Tablet I and orb (Sea of Lava) in the floating island above the snow peak

Secretorum Hermetis is in the tree all the way left above ground, you can dig up to the table from under the tree.

Emerald Tablet X and orb (Cement) are WAAAYYY down beneath the desert and to the right.

Tablet of Thoth and orb (Earthquake) are on top of the pyramid.
(Stay above ground and head right.)

The right (indestructible) wall of the desert has a ??? room above it, in the box is the Essence of Light perk.
(it shoots a circle of bolt around you every few seconds, they do self damage so it is bad)

Emerald Tablet IV and an orb (Necromancy) are at the bottom of the Sand Cave (under the pyramid) in an orb room.

How do you climb the right wall? I can't see how to levitate over it.

use a wand with recoil and aim down

I managed to do it by getting really lucky with world generation, Im sure theres a way to do so with explosives.

I also found some really busted wands inside the pyramid, this game really has been a nice surprise so far eh?

If anyone has a surefire way to climb that wall post it here please

They're quite powerful when you throw them, one shotting tough enemies when angled correctly, and can be picked back up.

you can use spells like firebolt to climb vertical walls. simply make an intent with the spell, and make sure it's big enough to stand in. Firebolt only has 25 charges though, so be careful.

I figured that would work, still curious if theres a way to do it without needing any specific spells or world gen though (probably not)

If you go to the floating island above the mountain, there's a brickwork floor with green glowing stone. Drop the tablet on it and it'll turn into gold. Alternatively, just hold it in your hand and it won't despawn and you can get infinite gold ;)

How do you get inside the pyramid?

You can use polymorph juice from the beginning and keep going right.. you need bombs to break open the doors to the pyramid..

i found the Emerald tablet X. its in the desert all the way down and keep going right. need a spell that serves as a pickaxe.

i got lucky and found a teleport wand but you can also bait the worm on the left side to dig you a tunnel though

just dont jump up the left side of the tree past the egg or else you'll regret it
