Drop Rate is abyssmal in Maniac mode.

I hade played Maglielle over 15 times in a row on Maniac mode with high level characters. It takes about 3 minutes per round. And not one single Cutthroat Fang drop in the entire series. I think this game is preventing any real players from progressing who actually have jobs that are more important then game. I have spent about 4 hours off and on playing over and over on repeat and nothing. I think there is going to be no one left playing this game in multiplayer mode by the time i get to the top like in most games they separate any real players from joining in with the endgame crew and keep it privitized.

if you need cutthroat fangs, silver wolf clovises, and destrudos it is much more efficient to find a group of people who can do the maglielle and galanza double fight in proud. if you beat it in 15 minutes you get a silver wolf clovis guranteed. if you kill the last one 5 minutes after killing the first one you will get a cutthroat fang guranteed, if you win without going into critical 5 times you will get a destrudo guranteed.

its best to get what you need for one character to reach a level 150 weapon and then farm those specific items in proud. the primal drops are still a pain though. that said awakening weapons are more of a luxury than a necesity because terminus weapons are just better and don't require any of those obscenely rare drops to level.

you can get them for 5 golden dalia badges. still a grind but you'll get it (along all other stuff you need/can tade) eventually this way.

Maniac isn't for farming. It's for gimps who can't handle Proud. It lets you still get the mats you need without being forced to handle actual challenge. It just takes longer.

you can only get the primal rare drops in proud. your opinion makes no logical sense.

Thanks for the advice. I just got 2 in Maniac mode with my AI group in 2 runs. They are prolly not quite ready yet for proud mode. I tried with other people with my main and it didn't last long before someone went down. I am trying to get 4 ready for it myself. I am maybe just now able to do it with my main 4. Need to get them to get there 1st awakening finished though I only have one character that has gotten the clear on bahanmut for 1st awakening. It will be a long time before I am able to see a second terminus weapon it seems.

Don't forget to check the store for crafting too. A lot of materials, including the endgame ones, can be crafted or bought for gold dalias instead of repeating the raids they come from.

Not trying to be rude, I'm really not, But if you think farming for less than an hour. for a single item. is too much for you to handle. your playing the wrong genre. or you are trying to play the game in a way that doesn't fit your lifestyle.

i farmed furycane for a couple hours before i got vitality hoof. but im used to farming mantles in monster hunter. and its just something we need to accept when it comes to end game progression.

Thats nothing compared to the endgame weapon and sigil grind. play the game to have fun yo, take the heavy grinds on days off and when other life things are settled.

the community will not be dead by the time you get there. this game is top 20 on steam. and tons of higher level players benefit from helping lower players who are not caught up. so they will help you.

Funny because the Refinium duo boss missions which also drop mats to trade in for Silver Centrums are Maniac missions...

I believe you have to have collected the item first. but yes. its also faster to farm compared to gold dalias method. much better things to spend that currency on.

^ Considering how easy it is to get that particular side-objective completed, its the best option to get this item.
