I have xbox button layout but I'm using Dualsense instead.

I do, on menus the game seems to lag and then I get some delayed movement that gets stuck in one direction. It's very weird and hard to describe but I have it.

I get the same issue. Sometimes my controller just completely stops being detected. It's really annoying.

I have the same problem, using a Dualsense PS5.
And I also have XBox buttons on the HUD.
Why.

I have the same problem with Dualsense
Tried with two different dualsense gamepads - problem is still here
One of them on the old firmware, the other is on the last
Both on bluetooth and wired connection - problem occurs anyway.

It's UI issue not the device issue, there is some weird micro lag, yes.
Although reading it throughout the thread, maybe I mean something else, I don't exactly have an absolute weird delays, just bits of stutter, hard to explain otherwise.

what i'm is not micro lag at all. You, even theoretically can't play like this - not every button click works. Like, i have press square button ten times in order for the game to recognize at least one click of it. The only way to fix this issue is to restart the game. Based on what i found out, this bug only after you don't use your dualsense gamepad after several minutes at least. Literally, need to have a call? Restart the game. Need to ♥♥♥♥? Restart the game. Some other reason to go afk for a while? Restart the game!

/upd
Nah, happens even while playing, has nothing to do with being AFK i guess

I noticed this too, after spending a long time tweaking my sigil in the menu my controller input started to lag.

Yeah, this is what happens when a developer stupidly drinks the kool-aid and uses the native Steam Input API. Everyone suffers because of this accursed API Valve created :-\

I'd suggest turning off Steam Input and using SK instead, I fixed a number of Dual Sense issues in the game... and on top of that, you need SK for Dual Sense buttons anyway. Kind of a win-win.

Buttons are third-party mods that use Special K, I'm sure you can find them on your own. I'd point you to them, but I'm not affiliated with them.

But the fixes I mentioned aren't in the normal release cycle yet :-\ If you want to fix the DualSense issues, I'd suggest the latest nightly build from our Discord server.

If you use your Dual Sense w/ Special K in wired mode, you'll get even lower latency than DS4Windows. If you use it wirelessly, you're going to need DS4Windows because SK doesn't fully support SONY Bluetooth controllers (no rumble, for one thing) -- full support is planned for the next official release.
