Remedy announced some things today. Including that Control will receive a free update in early 2025.

Well yea, but Remedy will now be in full control due to the publishing rights going back to them. So they can now patch the game. Unlike 505 which for some reason didnt want Remedy to do it or just didnt care enough about the game.

well I don't mind it, I will want to replay this game before the second one comes out and there might be more players coming if the second one generates more interest in the franchise

They are not even available for purchase. It still says "Ultimate Edition" in my account, but according to SteamDB i only have access to "Control Standard Edition Content" which is on an older patch on top so even just making the DLC available wouldn't cut it.

Just merge the depots already.
