LOW RES TEXTURES GLITCH

Having this issue when textures sudenly drops to low resolution, I have tryed Control - Blurry textures fix from nexus but it didnt fixed problem entirely...

i7 8700k
RT 6650 XT 8GB
16GB RAM
SSD

Had this problem last night when I was playing in DX12. Running it in DX11 now and I'm not seeing it happen again yet.

It would mean to say goodbye to RTX, but that low res textures glith is so annoying that I will probably switch to Dx11 as well...

Guessing your install size is 49.5gb, not 42.8?

Bought it on a sale and it looks like an ass on DX11 and textures simply dont load on dx12. Everything is so blurry like i`m using FSR perfromance or something here. Did not expect this game to be broken really.

Is your install 42.8gb or 49.5gb?

I have 42GB version, but I have already finished the game using dx11 and it wasnt as bad as I was expecting so its done for me...

If you have the 42gb version, you didn't install the mod correctly.

The only version where it doesn't work is the 49gb version.

And yes I did read you said you install 1 mod (singular) not tried others

there have been other mods like the one from one of the Remedy staff which contains a fix

More importantly no mention of your other settings, DX11 or DX12 for example Game resolution and render resolution which have a direct impact on vram usage which is important when you are running a 8gb card.

For example I just booted up the game in DX12 mode, everything set to off or low 2440x1400 game resolution 1080p render resolution and the game still sucks up 6/6.5gb of Vram on my card. So if you are trying to run a higher game/render resolution or have any other settings set higher that low you are going to run out of Vram and so will always have texture issues.

Anyways give the mod I linked a try, consider the other things I mentioned.

Thanx for help, but its like one week too late :) I have already finished the game using Dx11... And again Iam pretty sure that using capitals in headline is not shouting... Imagine sending me the link when I actualy needed it :D Ur the best...

Just for the other players, its not like the mod didnt worked at all, it fixed like 90% of the problem, after extracting it in to the right folder most of the textures started to load correctly, but there were still some objects like fire extinguishers from time to time that didnt load in full resolution...

works fine for me now i can play in 48:9 a ok.. lol
max texture looks trash doe.. not gonna lie
