That's not helpful. At all.
Neither is denying the fact that this texture issue is NOT restricted to people on 2060's.
I'm on a 2080. I've tried both DX11 and DX12. I've tried multiple combinations of settings on both APIs. I've got the game installed on a PCI-E NVME drive.
There. Is. A. Problem. With. The. Texture. Streaming.
Edit:
Of course. There's the "Lul, your hardware." comment. Couldn't help yourself, could you?
Lets see. Game has been out for over a year now. If it was a bug dont you think Remedy would have at least acknowledged it by now? Hmm. They are very good at what they do. They wouldnt leave the game like that.
Do a youtube search on the issue. It only returns 5 videos. Why? Because its not a bug with the game and only a handful of users have an issue. So there is barely any vidoes on it. If it was such a big issue as you claim there would be a lot more videos of people having the issue and a lot more articles about it too. Its the HW game is running on.
However, I did just find this video that was just released claiming to fix the texture issue. I suggest giving it a try instead of being so negative and trying to fight me because im only trying to help. You are going against the grain and being very unproductive.

Or you can try this as people in comments said this helped with texture loading too.

Remedy already stated that it would of taken up too much HDD space. The episodes for QB on PC were done in 4K unlike the console version which was 1080p and took 75GB of space to DL.
1080p was 75GB to DL do you think people would have wanted to DL way more than all that for 4k? No. It didnt make any sense so it was streamed.
You say im wrong for trying to help people by giving them suggestions so they can hopefully fix their issue? That right there is the flaw.
It now seems yes, you are going against the grain, arguing just to argue and taking this discussion off topic. This is my last reply to you. Good luck with your issue.
Switching textures to lowest and back to highest may help for some time, but it will come back later.
Then do a google search for reddit. Don't be in denial. The bug exists and is mostly present in DX12. I played the game with a 1080Ti and a 2080 Super. With both cards the issue is basically not present in DX11. But with the 2080S in DX12 there is a random loading problem. It's ok most of the time, even after starting the game for the first time.

This is a first load @ 0:20 you can see the guard poster not being fully loaded. But the rest is.
I don't have any issues on my PC. OS & game are installed on a 970 EVO+, I have 32GB 3600Mhz Ram and an I7 8700k running @ 5.1Ghz. Watercooled CPU @ 40-45°C & GPU 60-67°C while gaming.
The only explanation I have is that cards with 11GB Vram don't have the issue. I did a quick search on reddit. Basically all reports are from users with 8GB or less.
yeah so I promised to pay a little more attention and I noticed the following:
- for me it seems that the "slow textures" thing happens most often in the Executive Sector. That is to say I notice it there the most often.
- as of yesterday I notice assets (like antennas, boxes, etc, anything that is launchable, basically) pop into view occasionally. Like turning around and suddenly a cable spool appears, you know what I mean. Anyway I pretend this is the Oldest House moving things around but ofc its something else.
In other news the game just crashed on me for the first time. Bit ♥♥♥♥ really because I was almost at the end of a Bureau Event as well -.-

Meanwhile Quantum Break still runs like hot garbage most of the time, and the aim feels like it's lagging.
This is a dumb comment. They weren't "done" differently. Same source footage. 1080p footage works on PCs too believe it or not. If a console can download 75Gb of 1080p footage, why can't a PC download 75gb of 1080p footage? Once again you're saying stupid things.
Its really simple. Only console versions of QB used 1080p episodes. The PC version of QB used only 4K videos. Which I explained above.
If the 1080p videos were 75GB to DL. The 4K videos would of exceeded 300GB to DL. That is why they were only streamed. Especially if people have a data cap connection. No one wants to DL that much just for videos.
Your post is a dumb comment as you dont know the facts. Its called google. Look it up.
Did a clean install of Nvidia's latest and it seemed to work. Played for an hour, no crashes.
