Beth Wilder?
Did anyone notice that the main character of this game is played by the same actress that played Beth Wilder in Quantum Break? Crossover maybe?

No it's completely a new universe (I think, I hope). Alan Wake and QB are own by microsoft and they don't want sequel for now... or for ever.

That's why I think Remedy don't care if Courtney Hope play their new caracter in Control, there will be probably no link between their previous games and it's a good things... they can do what they want now with this new universe, they own the IP this time (Intellectual property) .

It's sad for Alan wake and QB :'( but a good thing for a new universe.

Yeah, it's somewhat good to have a completely different universe but I wouldn't mind a link between them :/ Nevermind, I hope it'll be a good one though.

Why ?

Because it's not a new universe, because Remedy have confirmed that all three titles; Alan Wake, Quantum Break, and Control are all in the same universe and same timeline. You said there was no link, there is. You said it's a new universe and separate, it isn't.

That's all :)

I said I thought (and was hoping) it was a new universe because they didn't have Alan Wake Ip at that time (they bought it later).

But that's a good news indeed ^^ a lot can changed in +4 years x)

So Beth Wilder and Jesse Faden share the same exact face for no reason? I'll just pretend there's no link between the two games... it shouldn't be hard to do until characters cross-over (which I don't think will happen)
