Yeah, but that's what makes the ending suck. Like they just threw it in there so people wouldn't whine about Clem being dead.

Yep. Trust me I was super upset with it and still am now. But I've had enough arguments about it to last a lifetime so I've learned to just accept it and go: "At least the game finished"
I wouldn't even call it an ending. It's left open.

Well, they said that's the end of Clem's story. So I dunno. In any case, I don't really like Telltales formula of "Your decisions ultimately don't matter". And this is coming from someone who has played all the Telltale games except for their Minecraft (stopped halfway through), Back to the Future and Jurassic park games. After played games like Detroit: Become Human, the Telltale style of decisions not mattering really sticks out. Especially after the fact that Final Season only has one ending. So if Skybound DOES make any more in the future, I hope the decisions actually branch out.

Cause realistically, there's no way they would spend the rest of their lives at the school. Even if they made a new one with AJ dragging Clem around. It'll just be another Kenny accident.

Unless Clem manages to survive until all the walkers rot and permanently die, she will 100% die from either a walker or human, and not of old age. That leg sealed the deal.
But deep down, I think Clem died inside a long time ago.
i cried like a baby like i did in the first one.i do agree they rushed ep3 and 4 after 8 or 9 years of palying twd.dont get me wrong im very grateful that it was finished after telltale did.so we dont have a reason to be mad at the other company that finished the game for us.we need to be mad at tell tale for walking out on the game and its fan.but yes i had tears on the train with lee and when she got bit.

In the first one, I had some tears, but this time I cried like a baby.
No. I mean, obviously I wanted Clem to survive, but I thought the last half an hour was a complete mess to be honest. (I've played it on the Epic store btw).

As soon as Clem got bit, I immediately thought "we've got an axe, chop off the leg". I spent the whole of the next scene just thinking "chop off the leg, chop off the leg, come on, give me the choice, I'm not even going to hesitate". Then Clem/AJ don't even acknowledge the possibility, and they just move on. So that just left me feeling really annoyed. I thought there was a possibility she might die, but not like that when there was an obvious chance to save her. The next few scenes with AJ in the barn and on the stream I was like "whatever, just roll credits already, I'm done".

Then back at the school Clem suddenly is okay and my only feelings were confusion, because they probably left it too long and the infection would have spread too far, but also more annoyance that they took away the decision so they could manufacture two emotional moments by first pretending she died only to have the twist that she's actually okay.

And don't forget about the BS fact that he didn't even clean the axe from walker blood before chopping her leg off there. And also managed to not only stop the bleeding himself, but get her out of there in time too.

People went over this and i believe the in depth conclusion was they didnt wait too long.
I cried when i thought she was dead, during the walk back to the school with the music running. THEN i was happy!
