As soon as Clem got bit, I immediately thought "we've got an axe, chop off the leg". I spent the whole of the next scene just thinking "chop off the leg, chop off the leg, come on, give me the choice, I'm not even going to hesitate". Then Clem/AJ don't even acknowledge the possibility, and they just move on. So that just left me feeling really annoyed. I thought there was a possibility she might die, but not like that when there was an obvious chance to save her. The next few scenes with AJ in the barn and on the stream I was like "whatever, just roll credits already, I'm done".
Then back at the school Clem suddenly is okay and my only feelings were confusion, because they probably left it too long and the infection would have spread too far, but also more annoyance that they took away the decision so they could manufacture two emotional moments by first pretending she died only to have the twist that she's actually okay.
Lol you expect game discussions without spoilers
