Any way to unlock a silenced sniper rifle?
-Only have hitman season 1 levels at the moment.
-I don't have access to the escalation "the Cheveyo Calibration" in Marrakesh.

Thanks. Not my favorite level, but will try to get mastery 20.

If you aren't above a lot of save/loading, you can knock off multiple high XP challenges in a single run by reloading after they indicate completion. This map especially has several mission stories that cancel each other out, but they all will register when you finish the level.
Having to grind for hours to get a silenced sniper rifle in a Hitman games is seriously moronic, though.
Yet one more thing the old Hitman games did a lot better.

Is it so wrong to find numerous ways to kill targets in a hitman game where the world is your weapon, my oh my I'd hate how you would fare in that kind of profession.

There are a thousand ways to take out your target, a sniper is just one way and a way that won't get you SA, there are plenty of ways to do the mission that are plenty fun while you wait to rank up enough. Hell SASO gets you around 7 mastery levels on it's own.
Why would you want everything unlocked from the start? Part of the fun is unlocking items so you can look forward to using them later to see how it shakes up the level for you when you redo it.

There is a challenge for Sniper kills only and you can do them suit only, silent assassin. So yes a suppressed sniper earlier in the game would be nice. Instead of alerting everything around you with it.

It's not about unlucking stuff, it's about essential stuff being blocked away behind a mastery level. This is even worse when you consider the lockpick is not a basic tool...

The only 'essential' items are the coins and silenced pistol, both of which are unlocked from the very start. The lockpick being unlocked either in the ICA facility by doing the mission stories or Miami at Mastery 2 (which takes what? 1 maybe 2 runs of the map?). The lockpick isn't an essential item though, you can still do any mission SASO without a lockpick, the lockpick just makes it easier.
Honestly you can do any mission SASO without bringing items, it's just harder so really no item is essential.

The silenced sniper is by no means an essential item. It's required for a small number of challenges, and a silenced sniper isn't required for those as an unsilenced one will also work as a sniper.

Those sniper challenges do not require SASO, and they typically can not be done without a body found at long range

SASO + sniper at the same time typically requires you sneak close up to the target, at which point you could have used any weapon and you don't really get the satisfaction of using the sniper

If you just complete the sniper challenge ~ as it's lsited and from long range your only requirement is no non targets and you not be spotted, they aren't meant to be SASO

The best part about Colorado is that it seems to be the easiest level to get Mastery 20 on.

I remember hitting level 11 after a single playthrough. A lot of the challenges overlap, so a little save-loading and you can easily wipe out 70% of the challenges in only one or two playthroughs and a small amount of planning.

The only time I use a sniper rifle is on mastery, unless a challenge calls for it. Sniper rifle is easy mode unless the drain bead ai hears you from across the map and derps out where you are hiding.
