THIS IS CRAZY RAZY

So I just bought this DLC and the "Install" checkmark is checked. I log into the game, it says I already own it, but I don't know where to go to find the new items? Should there be new events on the map?

for some reason the events for the contest skins don't appear where they are for other people, and in those areas there isn't any event checkmarks even though I didn't play any of the three events.
