All I want to know is, will I have to install anything from Epic. Because if the answer is in any way "yes", then I will not be buying your product. I wanted to buy satisfactory - until you slapped it exclusive. I'd love to have another chance at rewarding the developers but I felt very, very burned by the bs that epic brought.
If this has any taint from that fail company, count me out. So please: bullet list. information. i loved goat simulator. but I hate epic with such a burning fury that I will scrub all of it from my computer, including the purchased and well played original game, should it still be attached.
First error:
UE5 is an engine and not a contract.
Goat Simulator 3 uses the older UE4 engine, but has nothing to do with contracts.
Second error:
There is no “Epic Gays Store”, it is actually called “Epic Game Store”.
But what is the contract all about? Here is a correct representation:
Anyone who launches their game exclusively in the Epic Store will receive a whopping 100 percent of sales in the first six months. After this deadline has passed, the usual distribution of 88 to 12 percent continues.
The game may not be distributed before or at the same time by any other third-party provider, for example neither on Steam, nor on Uplay or Origin. With one exception: First party stores are allowed. As a developer, for example, you can sell a game on your own shop page and still get the full 100 percent from Epic.
This is about market share and profit.
Epic reacted with this action because more and more publishers have been moving closer to Steam in recent years. EA, Activision Blizzard, Ubisoft - all are now launching their games on Valve's platform again, instead of on their own store or epic-exclusive.
All information can be freely accessed on the Internet.
If Goat Simulator 3 appears here and it is purchased via Steam, you don't need anything from "Epic". Many people will have already gotten it from the “Epic Game Store” because it has been available there for over a year.
Just release the game already here,i want it badly~
Game looks sick af fr
Just hope price wont be like 60 euros or something 🗿
