I have already EVE account how can I connect it to Steam?
I have 21 days trial account directly from the eveonline.com. Is it possible to connect it to Steam somehow?

I don;t think so... I would contact CCP directly on their website. I know it's nice to have everything on steam, but it's really unnecessary. Eve can get pretty hectic and not having to worry about running Steam in the background would be a plus. If you can let me know back here. I'm curious myself.
From my understanding, no you can't. Also from my experience (an active eve online player) even when you do purchase eve through steam (which I have) the overlay doesn't work anyway which is annoying in itself.

Also on the Steam page it also says the following:

Notice: Monthly subscription fee required after first month. Product keys will not work with existing EVE Online accounts

Hope this help, and have fun in Eve Online :)

yeah if there isoverlay issues you most certainly do not want that. All the good corps have custom overlays you drop in your overlay folder. Without those you run the risk of attacking your corp members, and in large battles you won't know whats going on.
yes it is possible to connect to the steam. but bare in mind, EVE in steam only acts as the launch pad. you can't access the steam home screen in-game when you press shift+tab (by default).

However, if you buy the full EVE game on steam whilst you're on trial account, you can then use the CD key given in steam to add on a months play time on your account. if you activate the CD key through the EVE website that is.
When I bought it the incentive, I was given a CD-Key and are redirected to the site of EVE. There I was asked to create an account, or use the key to an existing account. I think yes, you smozhash attach Steam version to your account.

you can always just use the button under games tab(top left corner) add none-steam game
Adding it to steam is pointless really since none of the steam functions work with Eve because you have to dl the game externally anyway
im gunna point this out becouse for alot of you this seems to be a none issue being able to buy plex and time threw steam is really lucritive as alot of financial institutes block billing for iceland in the uk speaking from a point of someone who lives in the states

Seriously? Damnit, I was hoping to pay my EVE sub through the steam wallet.

The quoted text is slightly out of date now.

You can purchase plex and pay a monthly subscription through Steam now; however only new accounts from 5/31 forward can currently take advantage of this feature at the moment.

There's another note from EvE-O to consider, and that is with the Oddessy update, we should have a working overlay again. Right now, they want performance data.

That's what I meant, being able to pay for an old account through Steam would be a huge boon. Any plans for opening it up for older accounts?
I doubt thats a Valve thing, rather an integration issue with CCP. I'd ask CCP TBH
I tried the 21 day trial long ago...does that mean i can't buy the game and sub/plex via steam?
