You are assuming that he has the recipe available on his PDA and not picked up a diamond or scanned something that unlocked it. Please do not post lazy answers. If you want to help then help, don't troll with useless suggestions.
I too thought the same thing with the lack of stalkers, but I found a diamond and noted the change in the recipe. I remembered from the Degrasi PDA entries that talked of the discovery of the stalker teeth, the author spoke of the original recipe of fortifying glass with diamond and lead. So I went looking for a diamond.
edit:
Also scanning a diamond is not needed to get the recipe - I have it in my PDA and I haven't found a diamond yet.
Start a new game, look at your recipes, you won't find any. Then pretend that you are the OP. then look at the troll's post. How is it helpful?
While on my post, I told him what he asked for without telling him where to find the materials.
Your post is just as trolling as the other. I had said to Scan for it or pick up a diamond. Obviously, you scanned for it.
Teach a man to fish, he never has to ask embarrassingly derpy questions on a game board.
You're saying OP is asking for the ingredients for something he hasn't unlocked yet?
I assumed that if he needs enameled glass he's trying to build enameled glass.
The blueprint is unlocked when you unlock the Seatruck blueprint, not by picking up or scanning a diamond.
If OP is trying to build a Seatruck using enameled glass (the first thing you're probably gonna need it for), he already has the blueprint.
Just feeding him the recipe won't be of any help either because there is another requirement to finally being able to build it which is: Build a Seatruck
You talking down other peoples attempt to help and giving ♥♥♥♥♥♥ advice yourself is not trolling but we are?
edit just to cover your edit:
No I did not scan for it neither did I ever see or pick up a diamond... I just built a Seatruck
READ his post, not the title.
Where does any of his text lead to an assumption.
I spoke of Stalker Teeth in my original post because I saw that it was definitively clearly that he played Subnautica. And pointed out the Degrasi PDA reference to the changed recipe.
Secondly, he asked specifically to a material item. That would mean he was interested in the actual items which I provided.
Finally, it was clear from your post that you read the title and gave a BS comment then left the discussion. Because of that, I asked you to to help, if you truly wanted to help. Your comment was useless. The OP was pleading for assistance, you failed to do so, so I gave him what he asked for. However, he just might be asking for SUBNAUTICA help and not BELOW ZERO... In which case none of us helped him.
If you are talking about SUBNAUTICA, go to the creepvines in your seamoth, and look for pack of stalkers. If they are picking up and dropping salvage, wait for the a chime sound, that is an alert that a tooth was broken. Swim down to get the tooth.
He chose to ask and wait for an answer instead of finding it faster with a Google search.
That was the OP's choice. They have to live with the results.
Nobody's born knowing how to properly use Discussions like these - we all have to learn at some point.
Maybe next time they'll consult the wiki before posting here.
How are you not assuming he just wants to know the ingredients (that's exactly where your assumptions start)
Assuming he does not have the blueprint yet your post did not provide any help at all and just add to the confusion.
Again, read his post.
Here, Let Me Google That For You: https://lmgtfy.app/?q=below+zero+enameled+glass
And 13 comments later, THIS is why you consult the wiki first.
Again, start over.
You have ZERO recipes.
Enter the drop pod, you gain some basics recipes.
Pick a creepvine seed. You will gain 2 recipes.
Make a knife, go cut a creepvine, you will gain more recipes.
Knowing or having and idea of the ingredients leads to recipes.
Now to be precise, I DID NOT assume anything. He asked about materials, he commented on looking online and for guides... There is no assumption here, he was looking for the materials, more specifically, stalker teeth. It is possible he is asking for help in the wrong discussion group. Which makes both of you wrong.
I did not assume, I made references to both games and gave him the information in both games. You made a judgement that I assumed, but I gave him everything he needed based on what I knew and read. That is not the definition of assumption.
as·sume

suppose to be the case, without proof.
Since I did not know exactly what he wanted because of the idea that he could have been talking of another game, I gave him everything on the topic to allow him to decide which information was helpful. I did not "ASSUME" anything, he asked for help, he demonstrated that he was looking for guides. So I guided with what I knew and experienced in the game. And this is truth and proof which negates the definition of assume.
This is an opinion, it is not truth, it is not helpful. And this comment is borderline trolling.
Discussion boards are for people to ask these questions. Just because YOU do not like people to ask these type of questions does not give you the right to troll someone with useless information to scorn them. He opened with "...this may be stupid..." he admitted that he was vulnerable and you knifed him anyways.
And you continue to try to justify that you were correct to do so when you are clearly wrong.
