Just don'T try to explore the area beyond the bridge with the prawn suit. I don'T think the worms are programmed to handle it well, they'll probably thrash the suit quickly.
But those big worms can be a real pain in a prawn suit, the foot steps attract them.
as long as you keep moving forward not really imho
It's easy to miss, but do make sure you get the jump mod in the prawn mech bay in Kappa mine. It makes the suit a lot more mobile. (Haven't been able to find the grappling arm though...)
grappling arms fragment are in the cave network of sea monkey nest in the lilipad biome you can find an entrance of the said cave network bottom of the "last known pilot location"
It could also be used on land in the first game as well, there just wasn't any reason to do so.
