Glacial Basin map

Is there a better map of the Basin? The cartoon drawing of basin only gives you a vague idea where you are and I can't find the circled hole where my penguin can fit into. Apparently there is something important there, but there in the hell is it?.

Any help?

The way I found the cave you're talking about naturally:

In the Glacial Basin there's an area with a "forest" of purple ice trees. That area also has the Phi Excavation site. There is a cave by a frozen water fall that is a "short cut" passage between the Frozen Forest area and the "bay" area in the Glacial basin with Snowstalker caves and a Pengling colony. If you are in this cave, and "leaving" the Frozen Forest area and heading to the bay area, when you exist the cave, directly ahead is a Spy Pengling tunnel and the tell-tale tech marker with a rotating red light.

It's easier to see it at night, but it's right in front of you ahead about 100-120 meters ahead.

I could give you another set of directions that may lead you right to it faster and easier, but that's the way and the path I took to find it.

I was actually surprised about the significance of that cave. I had knowingly passed it many times expecting just more of the usual useless Quartz loot.

But no there's a McGuffin in there.

There are plenty of fan-generated maps and guides for SBZ out there. Google is your friend. But do be careful if you want to avoid spoilers.

I think I found the cave you're talking about. I remember killing the stalkers. If I'm understanding you correctly, all I found was a PDA. Is that right?

Unless I didn't enter it correctly, nothing useful came up.

One option is to download the Map Mod from Nexus.

You can turn off Fog of War in Options and see the whole area if you need to.

I think I found the cave you're talking about. I remember killing the stalkers. If I'm understanding you correctly, all I found was a PDA. Is that right?

Are you talking about the cave that's "hidden" like a crack in the wall, when you come around from Phi Robotics lab and take "right" turns, you come across a cave you can walk in with a PDA.

If you're finding a Spy Pengling hole with a tech site and some PDA entries, you aren't in the right spot either way. The tech site pengling hole with PDA iirc is "higher up" and the hole you're looking for is on "ground" level above the sealevel a bit.
