Snowfox Jump Module Question

I'm trying to figure out if I'm doing something wrong. I press space and it just kind of sputters up a couple feet. Even with the speed boost I can't jump the broken bridge that I think I'm supposed to jump. Is there a trick to using it that I'm missing?

Do you mean the bridge that's man-made at the bay's entrance or the fissure of ice above the phi robotic base ?

Because if it's the former, you need to get on your part of the bridge to see that it needs repair, look on the left side, you should be able to see what it needs to work again.

You need to Scan the Ruptured Hydraulic Fluid Container, Craft it, insert the Hydraulic Fluid into the side panel of the bridge, and the press the extend button on the terminal. You are not supposed to use the jump module as a way to get into the Arctic Spires.

Thanks guys, figured it out! Jump module still seems kinda flakey in general, though. Also worried about that ice worm thing I keep catching glimpses of...
