High capacity O2 tank?

I can't figure out how to get the high capacity O2 tank. I made the Standard O2 tank like 3 hours ago, (multiple ones at that), and I've constructed everything there is to construct minus the Sea Truck that takes 5 advanced wiring kits... am i missing something? The FANDOM wikia just says you can craft it after you've crafted the Standard O2 tank. I even made a second game to make sure it wasn't a bug but even then it simply will not unlock for me.

You need the blueprint from a databox. Look around in Twisty Bridges.

I couldn't find the rebreather either my current game - I had it quickly the first two games. I was so focused on gathering resources for other projects and searching for Sea Monkey nests that I never looked in the correct area.

Head straight out from the rescue pod in the direction you exit it. You'll see a platform with the plans in the twisty bridges in that direction

I got out of my base and was faced south, so I went south. I didn't saw what you discribed. I just found an vulcanic themed island, which doesn't contained the tank.

If you wait, Sam should give you a beacon for a supply cache. That has the data-box for a high-capacity O2 tank. If you want, you can comb the twisty bridges for the same data-box. Also, the re-breather data-box is pretty close to the alien sanctuary. Also, if you go in the kelp forest, try looking for the deep holes with the blood-vines. If you go deep enough, you can find sea-monkey nests. For whatever reason, I got the data for the ultra-high-capacity O2 tank when I scanned them. Can't make it without the modification station, though. Oh well.

Not in experimental.
In experimental it has the compass.

Stable has the compass too. If you got the high capacity tank before the last stable update, you can still go there to get the compass. Since you got the high capacity tank before, the datapad in the twisty bridges will give you titanium.

in current experimental bridge, there is no way to get high capacity tank. the databox does not give you anything.

Scanner room should be able to give you waypoints to databoxes.

I restarted the game in order to get the teleportation module for sea truck since I had scanned 14 of 15 techs, the supply cache has the compass now in 15125 and the high cap 02 is on the previously empty platform across the way from the entrance to the sanctuary. The rebreather is still in the same place on another platform a little higher up but nearby

For the Rebreather if you're facing the entrance to the Sanctuary site turn left and follow the chasm walls - it's around 125m depth.
