Dead Leviathan Location????
I think I have explored every nook and cranny of the under water biomes through and through, still cannot locate the dead leviathan. Thought maybe it just wasn't materializing on the game play as somethings take a few seconds to load, but I'm now frustrated cause I am at a dead loss, the end of the map glitches really bad once you go past the "known map and playable map so I know it isn't 3000 m away from life pod...Does anyone have its location cause I have found the floating platform and got stuck under it, which was quite funny...but no dead leviathan? would love some insight.

I find it around 28:00 on this video.

I don't use coordinates but I triangulated the approximate position as 1,100m from the Lifepod and 900m from the Cargo Rocket Island.

^That's where you'd start your dive but you're gonna need to travel another ~100m under the ice shelf to find the skeleton.

I find it's easiest to go about due East from the Rocket Island beach. If you wait until you have a SeaTruck it's a lot easier to find because you don't have to worry about running out of air under the glacier.

That biome reminds me of the lava zones of Subnautica, before any content was added to them. It was pitch black, void of life or sound, a true nightmare to navigate without a sonar. Then the developers started adding textures and models such as the lava castle, but no lighting yet, which made the place look even more nightmarish.

You mean West?
Haha, yes! Sorry, brain fart. I meant going "right" when going towards the island, but that's West because you're heading South towards the island from the starting area.

awesome thanks Ya'll. Thought I was losing my mind when I had been everywhere I could possibly think to look. Rediculous that it was right beyond where I have been several times. Must go deeper...I'll stop there, this game leaves way too much room for a dirty mind!

Entrance to the cave with the skeleton is about directly 1300m SW from the Life Pod. If you stick to that bearing, the opening (very tiny, however it's big enough for Seatruck to get through) is at a depth of 200m.

Coordinates: -1289.2, -147.0, -713.3

When you notice ice formation all around you, just go under the glacier and you're practically there.
